Horizontal or Vertical splits are easy with the Quantel. Spliting apart the
picture is also possible using the ADO if you have a two channel system. Its
just harder. But once you have split the image using the ADO, those parts can
be manipulated in ways that the Quantel can't possibly match.
The numbers shown here are the first keyframes needed to split the image
cleanly. Keyframe five can be changed and or additional frames added to
create new effects more complicated than a simple split.
A concentrator can be used but is not needed. However, the two channels must
be perfectly matched and in phase.
